Dating back to the late 1800’s, The Ethorpe Hotel started life as a private residence. A Buckinghamshire census of 1891 records the Bellairs family
living here along with their domestic staff. Abbram Ennis a stockbroker,
was the head of the family and the house was simply known as Ethorpe.
The first record of the house becoming a licensed hotel was in 1924 and
this striking Georgian-style building located in the village centre, offers the
luxury of a countryside retreat with the convenience of easy access to
London and Windsor.
